  We made a decision to invite a   German Exchange Student   to live with us. We have a spare bedroom with a private bathroom, and we thought an exchange student from Europe would help our boys understand history and geography. Jannis arrived on December 28 and will attend school with Jack at Brea High. Patrick likes having another big brother. We are one week into this new experience, and it is going much better than expected. I think my German is beginning to improve if only slightly.

  It has been one year since the Events of January 6, 2021. Much has been said about the people and purpose of that day in US Politics. Today, Joe Biden gave a speech in which he denounced the former President and those who took part in the event one year ago. Two basic things remain clear, at least to me they are clear. Joe Biden won the 2020 Election and the protest on January 6, 2021, was not an insurrection. After countless attempts to prove voter fraud or ballot tampering, nothing even close has been found by anyone. Neither Republicans nor Democrats or even state audits have found any significant votes that would have changed the outcome of the election. People have poured millions into proving that fraud existed, but they cannot find any evidence. None. Moreover, after watching the Biden Team fight Covid, I am convinced they do not have the organizational skills necessary to create a massive voter fraud. They are simply not that smart.
