 UKRAINE 101...... To fully understand the crisis in Ukraine you need to understand the History of the country. Modern Ukraine was a member of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth from 1569 to 1772 when it became annexed by Russia as a protectorate. Russia controlled Ukraine until 2014 when it became 'independent' due to US and European support. Today Russian in one of the official languages of the Ukraine spoken by 29% of the population. In short; Ukraine has been a part of Russia for over 250 years. Today a third of the population are Russian and speak the Russian language. In 2014 Ukraine was allowed to become a separate country. NATO and the US used this to create a "foothold" in Eastern Europe, much like Russia has done with Cuba. Russia does not want the Ukraine to become a NATO member.   A Short History of the Great Mask Hoax I wondered two years ago as this began, how will it end? For five years or so, little Asian ladies at the grocery store were wearing cloth face masks. I laughed at them. I knew a cloth mask would not prevent the spread of a virus. The guys who spray weed killer on lawns wear better masks to prevent inhalation of chemicals. The chemical molecules are a hundred times larger than the covid virus. A cloth mask is just for show. If you are serious, the N95 mask sold at Home Depot and worn by construction guys have always been your best choice. So, we bought N95 masks and I tried to tell "the Lemmings" they were being fooled. Most liberals insisted Cloth Masks are effective. Dr Fauci said so. They forgot he actually said you don't need a mask at all, but changed his story to follow the Party line.  NOT SO SUPER............. Like many other Americans, I watched the recent Half Time Show. I have never been a fan of Rap or Hip Hop Music. It has always made me feel uncomfortable, like driving by a Strip Club, just dirty some how. About 10 years ago I began to think that this "music" was in fact detrimental to Black Americans. When I tried to discuss my opinion, people said, "you're just old" Or, "you are a racist." Maybe both are true, I don't know. So following the game, I posted comments on social media about how degrading this music is to the ongoing effort of Black Americans. Again the tidal wave of "old Racist" comments flooded in.
