A Short History of the Great Mask Hoax


I wondered two years ago as this began, how will it end? For five years or so, little Asian ladies at the grocery store were wearing cloth face masks. I laughed at them. I knew a cloth mask would not prevent the spread of a virus.
The guys who spray weed killer on lawns wear better masks to prevent inhalation of chemicals. The chemical molecules are a hundred times larger than the covid virus. A cloth mask is just for show. If you are serious, the N95 mask sold at Home Depot and worn by construction guys have always been your best choice.
So, we bought N95 masks and I tried to tell "the Lemmings" they were being fooled. Most liberals insisted Cloth Masks are effective. Dr Fauci said so. They forgot he actually said you don't need a mask at all, but changed his story to follow the Party line. The video is out there if you care.
Then, research began to show that cloth mask are nearly worthless. They pointed out the cloth masks with inserts do provide 14% effectiveness. 99% of the country are NOT using these insert masks but the caveat gave them the ability to avoid total embarrassment.
America was becoming bored with covid and mandates of every kind. Remember when the Beach was closed to prevent the spread of Covid.....that was really stupid. So was the outdoor dinning. You can eat with other people but only outdoors. As we look back this was all total BS.
It has become clear to Democrats that America is going to vote them out of office over these absurd mandates. So, quickly the DNC spread the word. Drop the mandates and over night, just after the California Governor was Maskless at the Super Bowl....mask were unnecessary. "Mission Accomplished" Democrats won the covid war. Masks were so effective that Covid only killed a million people. [If masks were effective, why did so many die?] Liberals tell me that without masks more would have died...what, like 20 more?
Yesterday, a day after the End of Mask, I went to the store. Everyone is still wearing their Hello Kitty cloth masks. They can't be too safe. I was the only person there without a mask. All the Asian Grandmas and Liberal Karens looked at me like I was a Trump voter or Canadian Trucker. This will not end, even after we are told it is over.

 I was a poor reader. In third grade Ms Cicchetto told my parents that my reading had gotten worse over the summer and I was reading at the second grade level. I tried to read more, but I just didn't care about reading. TV was much more interesting. Then Mom signed me up for the Library Reading Club. If you read ten books...any books...you got an award. So we went to the Library every Friday afternoon. I picked books that looked good. And I read Ten Books. The Library lady came to our school and to Ms. Cicchetto's surprise, I was awarded a Reading Club Certificate. This began my interest is reading. By 1960, we were living in Germany and I was reading paperback books when I found Dr No. It was a spy book about a British secret agent named James Bond. The author was Ian Fleming. William May....my Dad the Veteran

 My father, like many others from the depression, grew up poor. My Grandfather, Thomas May, had died when dad was young. Dad grew up with his three other brothers and they worked to earn money to support their Mom and the family. During Prohibition, Dad's brothers who had worked at a local Brewery, were fired due to the closure of the Brewery. They earned money by driving trucks of illegal alcohol to secret bars in East Saint Louis. Dad was young and his job was to "ride shotgun." He would sit in the truck with one of his brothers and hold the shotgun just in case they were stopped. Poverty led to my father having a limited education. Worse, helping his brothers smuggle alcohol led to limited job skills. Then in 1942, America went to War. As Dad told me, "I didn't know how to do very much.
